MINI MADS
2½ -3½ & 4-5 yrs. A creative and enjoyable introduction to dance specifically designed to bring the joy of movement and music to little ones. The children develop body awareness and control while exploring their own creativity. Students are encouraged to think creatively and listen attentively while they develop rhythmic awareness. We encourage the natural creativity that exists.
URBAN -HIP HOP/LOCKING/POPPING/BREAKING/KRUMPING A fusion of fluid urban styles to create innovative movement .The class is centered around hip-hop dynamics, yet concentrated on today’s video/ pop style. The class encourages students to shed their inhibitions, express themselves via short group choreography and in-class battles.
Boys Urban A new class mixing styles like hip-hop, poppin’, breakin’, and street jazz utilising formation transition that constantly move the choreography from uniformity to chaos and then back again, giving his class a pulsating and dynamic flavour. Ideal for all ages.
ISTD Tap, Ballet & Modern 5 - 21 years Fundamentals of tap and modern focussing on the development of technique through dance terminology. Although technique is worked on, it is presented in a fun manner; only a small amount of time is spent on each concept. The result is quick moving, energetic classes.
ISTD syllabus is covered for examinations, the students are also stimulated through improvisation, competitions and shows etc. These classes maintain a positive atmosphere focusing on technique and musicality. Technique is taught through rhythm exercises, short combinations of steps and across the floor work which is then put together into a longer combination.
Latin American \ Ballroom classes: Under 5yrs, Under 12yrs, 12yrs + Has watching Strictly Come Dancing on a Saturday evening gripped your children’s attention and inspired them to learn to dance? Children will be introduced and learn to experience and develop the basic skills of dancing Latin American & Modern Ballroom in a safe and fun environment. Children will learn the basic steps and dance in formation, a great way to get started and you don’t even need a partner ! |
