Festivals

Entry fees are due in advance of the festival. Invoices for costume hire will be produced separately. Class time will be charged within normal fees invoice.

Costume Hire

Costume hire includes any event where the school performs in costume with the exception of the school biannual show.
 
Costumes are either bought by the school from companies in America or are made to measure. The school holds a costume wardrobe and will then charge a small hire fee in order to re-coup some of the cost which will go towards repairs, cleaning and storage. Hire is charged each time the costume is worn.

ISTD Examinations

Entrance fees are reviewed by the ISTD yearly.

Invoicing & Payment Dates

Term Fees - These are prepared and sent before the start of each term and are required to be paid within fourteen days from the invoice date (normally the term start date).

Festival/Show Invoices - Prepared and sent at the beginning of January and include festivals/shows between September-December of the previous year and January - June of the current year. Festival/Show Invoices also include costume hire. Payment terms are 30 days.

Examination Invoices - Invoiced two months before examination date, payment terms 30 days.

Trial Periods of four weeks - Where a child does not want to continue after the trial period. Payment terms by return.

Early Settlement (applicable to students who have been enrolled for a minumum period of 12 months)

A 5% early settlement discount is available to all students who pay their tuition fees in full within 10 days of invoice date.
A 2% early settlement discount is available to all students who pay their tuition fees in full within 14 days of invoice date.


Fees must be paid in full 10/14 days from invoice date to qualify for the early an settlement discount.  Payment must be received by principal before or on 10/14th day no later. Students must have no outstanding fees or charges from previous terms.

Late Settlement
A late settlement fee of 3% (based on total fees) is charged when fees are  overdue. Charges will be shown on the credit control letter not through a reissue of invoice.
The charge will escalate at 2% increments every fourteen days beyond this time to a maximum of 56 days (i.e 14-28 days 3%.29 – 42 days at 5%, 43-56 days at 7%) After this time the account will be referred for collection which could lead to a CCJ.

Deferred Payments by agreement:
A deferred payment agreement will be written and signed by both parties. It is a facility whereby allowing you to pay back fees in instalments or in full at a later date dependant on your financial situation.


Before an agreement is made, reasonable effort must be made to contact the principal by phone/mail/email. The standard agreement will be a down payment of 25% of total then the rest to be agreed on an individual case basis. If the principal does not receive these instalments or final payment on time you will be sent a notice requiring you to pay the full amount owed on your account, and you will then have only 14 days to pay in full before your agreement is terminated and the account referred for collection.
