A Teachers Right to Refuse a Student
A teacher may refuse to teach a student if their behaviour is disruptive or they are rude. A student will be asked to leave the class or the parent may be contacted. Should this happen on more than two occasions the school will terminate the students registration with immediate affect, fees will not be refunded.
Attendance at Another Dance School
Should a student attend another dance school it is requested that the parent notify the principal immediately. There is no issue with students attending different subjects at another school but MADS will cease teaching a pupil who is attending the same subjects at both schools i.e Jazz at MADS and at another school. This is a conflict of interests and loyalty and applies even if notification has been given to cancel registration. If the principal is not notified of this and finds out through a third party then teaching of the student will cease with immediate affect and fees will not be refunded.
